spigrimace says on Jan 29, 2008, 16:09: From what I´ve seen typically there´s an escritura and acta(s) all put into the process at a notary, b4 going to the camara commercio but that may depend on what type of company you´re setting up. Lawyer can help you there. Other problem is what type of corporation are you doing? Limitada? Unipersonal, etc? Limitada needs 2 partners and to be Representante Legal one needs a cedula and when I did mine, they wouldnt accept the "c.e. en tramite" contraseña.You have to register with DIAN (RUT) that will give you your company´s NIT and also with them if you are regimin Comun or regimin simplificado and apply at the DIAN for the numbers of the facturas, say 1 to 100,000 but depends on the business. YOu need to get a company stamp made too.
