The women here in the U.S. have to have the whole package. We need to know how to cook, be intelligent, work, be independent. At least in the majority of the cases. But this couple that i'm talking about, have money and pretty much THE ONLY duty the wife has is to tell the "muchacha" what to cook for dinner that day.She doesn't even really "raise"her kid because the kid has another "muchacha". So in conclusion, these chicks that have money want to be kept! And in that society, it's expected that her husband does so.

Funny anecdote: a good buddy of mine (gringo from TX) was basically given the green light from this 40 year old stunner, luxury car, fake boobs, the whole nine yards, estrata 10 if you know what I mean. :-) He smartly backed away from that though because hubby is a high ranking officer in the military. No need to push one's chances! :))

if you are in Colombia messing around with some muchacha impossibly young for you, with expectations greater than your lot in life, just like in the States, it ain't going to work... consider it a short term indulgence, be honest with her, and move on...If you are looking for a life partner, look at somebody more your age and have a serious conversation about what you both have to offer the marriage, just like in the States...
