Spirit Airlines

I'm flying through Spirit next week and need to buy my baggage pass. When I try online, it just comes up "Call customer service." Well, I've been calling them for 3 days, but all I get is a busy signal!! I'm really, really frustrated. I tried emailing them, but I haven't gotten a response. Does anyone have advice about their customer service or how to reach them? Has anyone flown from Cartagena?

Print out that webpage telling you that and take it to the airport with you. You should be able to pay the web price for the bags at the airport if you explain them the situation. I have done it in internal US Spirit flights and it worked, but still keep on trying calling customer service.

This same exact thing happened to me last Oct. for my San Jose trip but did not happen last month for my trip inside US. I don't know if it has to do with the Intl. routes but is extremely frustrating. I did finally get an email back from them about a week before the flight and they told me to try again within 4 days of the flight.

Seems they do eventually take care of things but on their own schedule.

Hang in there. Still if nothing within 4 days prior then I'd be most concerned. PLease let us know how it works out.

get down, get down. are you afraid of the boogie monster?

Where are you flying from in the US? If need be, I can run over to the Ft Lauderdale airport for you (half mile) and go head to head with someone at Spirit. My cell number is 954-534-3885. I live in Dania Beach a stones throw from FLL airport. Not a problem to run it down for you.I worked at the airport until one month ago for Skybus Airlines that went belly up unfortunately, but I still have contacts.

Well... I finally got through to a customer service rep. I waited with elevator music for, let's see... 32 minutes! I'm on hold right now. He doesn't understand why I can't purchase the pass.

Still waiting...

Finally! The guy had to reset the website for some reason. It worked though. Now let's hope everything goes smoothly from here.

Thanks so much b for your offer! I will keep your cell number just in case. That's very, very nice of you. I may need help in the future!

That's cool, Bruce.

But from all I read, I wonder how may repeat customers they have, although I hope that it all works out for you, Jenny. Have a great trip!
