I have only 90 minutes to connect onto a Spirit air flight to FFL which will then take me to Honduras. I am wondering if anyone has ever tried to connect to a flight at ATL with only such limited amount of time. I am worried but that is my only option due to a change of destination. Otherwise I would have to wait 2 days in ATL to travel to Miami and then onto HOnduras with Spirit AIr.
Advice much needed thank you/

Are you flying into ATL with Spirit? This could make a difference,if your incoming flight is late. If you have Spirit all the way through they should ensure that you make your connections. Minimum "legal" time for connections is I think one hour. That being said,Hartsfield is a very busy but efficient airport.. And the people tend to be nice, unlike those maggots at MIA. cdy says on Oct 13, 2008, 06:06: Just to clairify, where are you originating from, you are flying Spirit from ATL to FLL and then onto Honduras, I assume you are not coming from Colombia(that would be one crazy route to get to Honduras). As long as you don't have to pass through customs in ATL you will be fine, but if you do have to pass through customs it is cutting it pretty close, Spirit counters can be terribly slow.

larryrn says on Oct 15, 2008, 06:51: Not a problem if you arrive in time. And Sprit created a disaster at the airport in Ft Lauderdale. Flying international from FLL is horrible since Sprit arrived and offers so many cheap fares. Spirit basically over-saturated FLL terminal 4 (international) and there are lines for the bathroom, getting something to eat, going through security, etc. A total mess because of the 79 USD fares to Lima, Kingston, etc..
