Spanish singers

Hi I am trying to find out some Spanish singers, Colombians or from another country but with the same kind of this music so you can play them "acoustic".
Not it's not for me unfortunately the only instrument I can play is the flute, it's for my daughter she wants to play some song in Spanish.

So far out of them all... Amaral still wins hands down IMO. I'm not a fan of the majority of chic music in Spanish or in English for that matter but this one's pretty cool. I wish I had something to contribute.

My daughte sings in English but know she wants to learn some Spanish songs.

Aaron she plays the guitar, I bought her last time I was in Colombia a beautiful electro acoustic guitar, she was over the moon, she already is writting her own material. Know not because is my daughter, I would not encourage her if I knew she wasn't that great, but everybody says how good and unique her voice is, she does sing beautiful. She wants to write some few more songs then make a cd and see how is it go also I told her to post a video of her on myspace or you tube. At the moment she is doing a national diploma in drama and that is taking her time.

My brother got a band in Bogota, he plays in different places, but he told her if she wants to she can play with them sometimes when she is in Colombia.

although she prefers Joan , the song Pensacola from one of her albums, my daughter sing it soooo beautiful also this one. Pity I can't gent Pensacola in youtube

kat I LOVE Joan Osborne. It's very difficult to find her not so popular songs on Youtube, I like Pensacola too and Lumina, from that same album. I also like her "Righteous Love" and her cover on Bob Dylan's Man with a Long Black Coat is awesome.

Yes I agree she is a great singer, I never heard of her until I listened to my daughter playing her songs, but because I listened to my daughter first I quite like my daughter's voice in Pensacola :).

Also I sent her the one dwmte7 posted "Jason Mraz -I'm Yours", and she really liked it so she is playing it now :)
