Modefoqu... it's perfectly understandable why your own women don't want to date you.
I think maybe Latin mommas are perpetuating their own dilemma, one cycle or generation after another.... Some one here told me: Latin mothers (not modefoques) will MOVE THE EARTH FOR THEIR BOYS.

jjeejeje.. si, you boys are so freakin spoiled by yo mammas, that your women can't stand it, but then, they have some boys of their own, and do the same thing to them, all over again,...and again.... and again....

The flag bracelets are very popular with expatriates. In Medellin I hardly ever see them but they are all over the US and Canada. The fotos above remind me of the gift shops in Rionegro airport. They make me sad becuase I dont like that airport.

juli says on Aug 8 (today): flag

"The flag bracelets are very popular with expatriates. In Medellin I hardly ever see them but they are all over the US and Canada. The fotos above remind me of the gift shops in Rionegro airport. They make me sad becuase I dont like that airport."

The flag bracelets were launched in Colombia and I believe the bracelets were part of an ad campaign in Colombia. Does anyone remember at least one TV commercial where they showed a leader wearing it?
Many well-known leaders, athletes and celebrities in Colombia wear them.
Question, what's the name of the famous soccer player from Colombia who wears the Colombian flag bracelets?
In a restaurant in Barranquilla I noticed a man who was from Colombia but not from la costa because of his accent. He was proudly wearing the colorful flag bracelet. He and his wife were visiting la costa.

Juli, I do however believe you about what you said that you have hardly see them in Medellin. I am not from Medallo but I was there a couple years ago and I was very dissapointed with the city. I thought I was in any other city but in a Colombian city. I thought I was in Tijuana.
In fact, everytime someone from Medellin or anyone who visits a lot the city and post here their comments about Medellin, they 100% confirm my doubts.

juli says on Aug 9, 2008, 09:07:

Every Colombian expatriate wears them in the US.When I am in the US I see them worn in Latino neighborhoods. Kind of like "I'm Colombian, I have a flag braclet - I'm not from Mexico". So what a couple of Colombian luminaries wore them at the launch. Now? No need to attack me or Medellin.

Colombia is a vast country and nowhere is like Baq, nowehere is like Bogotá, nowehere is like Cali. I have never been to Tjuana but Iĺl take your word for it - Medellín and Tijuana are the same.

And there you ahve it, very nationalistic.

If you regionalists cant embrace and accept other Colombians and see Colombia as one Colombia it's not my narrow minded problem. I spend a lot of time in the US and in cities all over Colombia. Wear your braclet proud - or better yet wear a Pasto bracelet since Colombia is tarnished with the precsence of Medellin. Sorry I left a blemish in your cheerleader post. You must be an expatriate. I'm sorry.

Claro usted es Cololmbiano. Si ud viviera en Colombia no sería necesario llevar la bandera. Todos que viven en Colombia saben quien somos.

Here is one answer to this question, "The flag bracelets were launched in Colombia and I believe the bracelets were part of an ad campaign in Colombia. Does anyone remember at least one TV commercial where they showed a leader wearing it?
Many well-known leaders, athletes and celebrities in Colombia wear them."
In case the Colombians who live in Colombia do not know who wears the bracelets in Colombia?

Here is the answer about an athlete or celebrity; His name is “El Pibe" Valderrama. There are more celebrities, come on, let's hear a couple more!
CARLOS "EL PIBE" VALDERRAMA
