an attorney friend of mine in calif where i grew up, grew smoke for 25 years until he was taken by a tumor. every two years he went to the convention in copenhagen (?). he was there since the beginning of this suare'. he knew all the other major world growers and was responsible for the development of the 'world strain'. it used to be called "911"...now it's called "train wreck".

well, back to the story. to confuse anything grown in colombia--with all due respect to the country and it's folk--with real sinsemilla is like confusing a turd with a hot dog. my friends in poblado years ago used to think themselves connoisseurs of of fine things used to try and get me to smoke with them and i told them i don't smoke much anymore as it gives me 'dead head' and i can't get my work done. i also told them, 'trust me, i've smoked my share of killer weed. then they'ld get off pm their story about punto rojo being the strongest weed on the planet. without trying it i told them...i doubt that.

well, this went on for about a year and a half and finally one night partying with my poblado friends i gave in to their begging and decided to try their weed. one buddy actually had the gaul to say, 'you better sid down...this stuff will knock you on your ass.'
i just looked at him, thinking, 'you gotta be kidding me.'

well, when the 'J' got passed around to me, all eyes were on me...i took a toke, then another, and another...then i said..'this is your all mighty punto rojo? the colombian killer weed?' dudes, if this is all you got, you're in trouble, this is like mexican regular. hardly killer weed like we californians are accustomed to. i really felt sorry for them. they really thought it was dynamite. pity.

i hadn't seen a seed in smoke for 15 or 20 years before going to colombia the first time. i don't think i ever saw smoke there without seeds. what more can i say?

drugless,..the oldgringo is in agreement with you on the quality issue, however no need to offend anyone,..it's not their fault.
the locals do the best they can, just like everywhere else, and we get to see their faces fall in the soup when we bring them a little gift of texada timewarp, the descendant of puna butta betta.
BTW..the humboldt/mendocino apcray has no poop...fools' gold.
