Hi All
Late this morning I saw a couple of Helicopters going overhead. A student I had at that time said that she had heard that the President was going to have a "Town Meeting". We turned on Señal Institutional and sure enough the President was on the TV from Garagoa. Our mayor and his sister both addressed the President. There weas much concern voiced about the hoirrible roads etc. They also discussed a broad band installation for the area. This meeting lasted from 12 N until about 6:15 at 6:30 I again heard the helicopters going back to Bogota. My house is on the helicopter route between Bogota and Los LLanos.

I would say that every organization and mayor from the Valle de Tenza protested the horrible state of the roads. The INVIA chief was also there to discuss the new construction to Sogomoso but the majority from the area were more concerned with the other roads. This was a meeting with Uribe that lasted more than 6 hours straight through. Mr. Bill Somondoco 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Now waiting for the next major flood to come. What a waste!!
