As I write this I can hear the distant cry of the Hombre de Soltarita selling his wares, and I have flashbacks to when I last sampled the unique flavor of the Soltarita.
I have lived and travelled in many different countries and always make a point of sampling the culinary delights of the local cuisine, sometimes to the detriment of my wellbeing.
But I am afraid that the humble soltarita rates up there as one of the more unfortunate offerings in Colombia...
Is it just me or is this orange fried piece of fat smothered in orange colored gelatinous goo the most gross sweet you have had to endure?
