Solar Power (Wind Farms)

Does anyone know if any study is being done with Solar wind farms? In the United States People are investing in this form of power to run anything.

Can you imagine the investment return if this actually takes off. The investments now are cheap, but if this become popular, you can imagine how high stocks will go. The government is actually backing this project too, but there are some within the government, who are not to cool with this form of power.

Maybe these persons are the one who have high stock in electrical power.

Does Colombia have an interest in Solar Power? I know my girlfriend will lose power at her house at any given time.

Solar power might be an good secondary choice of power, how much interest is their in this type of engery for Colombians?

southernman Never seen any of either, but Colombia recieves most of its Electric power through Hydro, which overall is far better than either of the above.
