Against my better judgment (wasting time looking up celebrity info on the internet) I learned today that her father abandoned what used to be a prosperous family in Barranquilla and that one of her older brothers was murdered in 1998 during a kidnap attempt. Couple that history with the artificial Miami and Hollywood worlds and it wouldn't surprise me if she's screwed-up in the head.

She's a very beautiful woman with zero talent. Just because she'll be on Broadway does not mean that she has it because first of all, she's just filling in for an already existing show "Chicago", then she's going to be on for a few weeks with the touring company, which doesn't mean crap.

That's as far as she can go unfortunately because again, she's got no talent and she's already pushing 40, a curse in Hollywood standards.

I don't think anyone is saying she's not a beautiful woman and there's nothing wrong with her being 40. BUT as far as her acting career goes (if you can call it a career), she's done.

I just found this page. Sofia is a perfect 10, with a beautiful face and spectacular, sexy body (natural boobs, by the way). Yes, she's getting up in years (she'll be 37 in July), but still gorgeous in my book.

Her acting isn't the greatest - she tends to overact, but I liked her comic ability in "The Knight of Prosperity." There's a hilarious bit with Jimmy Kimmel and Salma where Sofia showed she's a good singer. So hopefully her singing and broad, comic acting style will translate well onstage when she appears in the musical Chicago on Broadway.

I haven't read over this whole thread, but I don't know what's up with her taste in hoodlums/badasses/whatever, when her brother Rafael was tragically killed in a gang-related incident. Sofia even named her son Manolo after the character in Scarface (although that was before her brother's death). But Sofia is actively involved in charities for education and employment, so her heart's in the right place there.

Also, I don't think her and Tom Cruise were ever an item. The weathy businessman's name was Rashee.
