Soccer in Bogota

Are there any places to catch some good soccer games in Bogota. I will be in Bogota from November 25 until the 30th. Are there any other sports events that I should not miss in Bogota? ie, bullfighting.

Thanks

If Equidad makes it to the semifinals they should have a game or two... they are the family-friendly team. I would rather see a millos or Santa fe match though, more excitement and passion, you get to experience what futbol means to most Colombianos.

Will milos or Santa fe be playing when I am in town? How can I find out about the Equidad game? I am all for seeing a game that is typical for most Colombians. Being an Oakland Raider fan, I need to see some team that has passion.

well if you're part of the black hole there's nothing to worry about... ;)

By the time you're in Bogota it will be semi-finals round robin(top 8). At this point in time none of the three Bogota teams have their places booked for this and it will all be decided this weekend. I'll come back here to post a schedule when it's available.

Being 6' 2" and 270lbs. I love rowdy crowds. I really do hope that there are some santa fe games when I am there. And yes, you do not want to be in the Blach Hole for the Raiders wearing the wrong colors. So I will be sure to wear red if I go to a game.

millos and santa fe are out... so you might have an Equidad game or if you're really lucky America de Cali will play in Bogota as the stadium in Cali is being used for a different sporting event. Schedule comes out tuesday.

If you could arrange to travel 3 hours go to Ibague and watch Deportivo Tolima.

Seems like the only game in Bogota during your stay will be Equidad vs. Medellin on the 30th...

Thanks, I guess I will be watching the superstars of football on November 26th. I am looking forward to at least experiencing the crowds and the stadium. Not as intense, but still looks like fun.
