So now I have a jar of lulos.

What the heck are you supposed to do with them.

Do you just eat them out of the jar, or are they used in making some sort of Colombian desert? I don't know why I buy all these things that I don't have a clue about. Thank god I didn't buy the jar of pejibaye fruits next to it. What are they good for?

At least the Alpina avena is good, nice ice cold. mmm!!!

Found that festival cookies are available for only 99 cents a pack, but they aren't anything special.

Did I mention that Walmart has mora pulp for $1.09 for 14 oz. not bad. Good price on arepa de chocolo too!

Jugo de Lulo: First you got to make sure they are peel off, then
cut them on half, put them on the blender, add some water and chopped ice, (sugar as desired ).
And you would have your "Jugo de Lulo".
(Serve cold).

Good Luck ;-)

So basically I could have just purchased the frozen pulp as I normally do? Well the jar of lulos does look pretty.

That's what I'm talking about. I will give that a try, I don't drink, but I'm sure I can find someone to test it. Any volunteers?

Alpina avena rocks! Yep! Alpina avena is really good! I tried several times. They have two kinds, lite and regular.
Avena is very healthy as well, if you have high cholesterol and if you eat or drink avena it will lower your cholesterol levels.

"Oatmeal Lowers Cholesterol
Oatmeal, a rich source of dietary fiber, has been discovered to lower cholesterol levels in over 40 separate research studies. It is thought that the oat fibers mix with cholesterol in the small intestine and carry the cholesterol out of the body instead of it being absorbed into the blood. The Food and Drug Administration is also convinced---oatmeal was the first food to carry the distinction on its label to lower cholesterol levels."

Yes, I do have slightly elevated cholesterol. You can blame English breakfasts for that. ;-)

Bacon, sausage, fried slice, fried bread, grilled tomato, baked beans, black pudding, grilled mushrooms .....

That and sarnies! Oh I forgot fish n chips.

And now that I live in the US I regualrly eat morcilla, chicharon, and chorizos for a snack.

Kernow62 Ok, be careful with all that high cholesterol food! I have been eating lately a lot at "Soups and Salads", I believe I also have high cholesterol, but I do not check my self for that stuff.
I did not know that grilled mushroom, I love mushrooms, are high in cholesterol?
