orestesdd says on Jun 20, 2007, 07:17: Btw, how do I edit my profile? Is there a way to edit your message after it has been posted? I don't see how I can re-edit a post already posted.

orestesdd says on Jun 20, 2007, 07:42: Thanks, Peter. I figured it out. However, when I set my birthday date, it does not keep it saved. It goes back to December 31 or something. Another thing I cannot find is the Google search for your site. All in all, the site looks much better.

orestesdd says on Jun 20, 2007, 07:43: Sorry. I now see that you will add the google search. I could have re-edit my previous post, but it was too late. I guess I am getting old.

getting better says on Jun 20, 2007, 16:23: It uses to me that the threads with the most recent posts were on the top, but now they are ordered by the date they are originally posted. I think that is a great pity and greatly devalues an excellent site. However interesting a subject is it will now die after a few days, whilst rubbish will stay at the top for a while even with no replies.

ColombianoGringo (Moderator) (Trustee board) says on Jun 20, 2007, 16:54: The format is OK. The main issue are the missing features such as editing posts, sending messages(errors out), etc. Once those are brought online, maybe you could play with the forum formating.

Brians says on Jun 20, 2007, 17:07: I hate it. I hate change but I am going to have to live with it if this is what you want. The other format just seemed more fun. I can't see how many posts are on a thread as well as the google. I just thought the other format was great so why mess with it.

Robert Jorge says on Jun 20, 2007, 21:49: I am also starting to get used to it. I also like the seeing the oldest postings first and having to scroll to see the newer posts. I like seeing things in a timeline order. It is a lot easier for me to keep up with. He who farts in church, sits in his own pew. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Gomezman5 says on Jun 21, 2007, 01:05: Yes.....it is freaking me out. I just logged in today (this morning..it's 3 AM) and first thought I was asleep and that this was a dream. Why I would dream about PBH I don't know. Anyway, there is a funny part to all of this. I have a new laptop and PBH was not yet bookmarked in the computer, so I went to Google the site, and I found you at the top, but when I clicked on it, it brought me to this site. Then I thought........funny, there is someone out here trying to steal Peter's name. Then I scrolled down a bit and I saw a bunch of PBH members that I knew. Then I decided to try and log in.....still not sure of what the F was going on, and sure enough I was able to log in. Strange in a way.

You're right, that was another view that was possible in the previous version that's not now. I'm thinking about how to bring it back. Thanks for the suggestion! Poor but snappy 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
