Six Degrees of Separation, Colombian style

Nearly ALL Colombians in USA including the ones born here could trace their entry into the USA to illegal activities, except me!!
If you or your parents did not arrived in the 50’s when a peso was equal to a dollar then you is one illegal modefoque.
In most cases Colombians got here with a tourist or student visa to never return and later married a Puerto Rican for the papers. Or they asked for bogus political asylum or bamboozled a lonely gringo into bringing them here.
Now, do I get a prize from the gringos for being the only legal Colombian modefoque here??

A very interesting turn of perspectives on your part...
Although you may not get the acknowledgments or just deserves here on this illustrious website, however, I may happen to think that some type of investigatory award is in order to say the least from maybe the NYTimes or something? Maybe?
I hope you realize that this is going to go over like a leadened arepas to your fellow countrymen/gals.

My grandmother came to the States in 1963, then she petitioned my dad and mom in 1964 or 65. All I can remember is my grandmother watching los shows de los blanquitos, jajaja.
