Wow Tejas you have so many friends! I only have 7 and I don't even know if I like them so much:) I guess I have to work on my interpersonal skills a little.

Site looks great Peter. BUT is the edit feature is an hour? That's a bit long to read and fix a typo, no?

Marcos..you look much better than me. ;)

The "lovemedellin website" is a piece of crap made by some moron who has only been to Medellin once...you'd be better off reading the Lonely Planet advice from a guy who never even came here!

Good one Angelita.
I did not know how the friend thing works, still don`t, do you choose the friends or they choose you???!!, most of the ones I have they choose me as friend first, I only remember choosing one of two, and I put one only on "ignore" I like all my friends!

houstongal says on May 11, 2008, 16:10:

Peter - What good is an expanded gallery of friends when you have no idea if any of them left you a comment on your profile unless you check it frequently? It was nice having the list of what your friends were up to...whether they changed their picture, left you a comment, left a friend a comment, or created a new post. The dawg and a number of us miss this feature!

I agree with HG Peter. That was always the feature I would check first on logging in. Otherwise, I like the changes.

admittedly, arriving can feel great too

i'm trying to figure out what real value the friends thing has, absent the "friends comments" feature.

Was that comment alert the only benefit to selecting friends? I never bothered to use it since I thought it didn't really do anything useful.

Peter - I think I see what you mean. I like the part of the friends function so you can make comments on profiles.

One thing I have noticed different is when you log into your account the part that allows you to see your friends and their posts/comments is gone. Sometimes it helped to know if someone posted on your profile ;))

Only problem is, it may be better if users have the "option" for this (as they do in advertising). The way it was before, I think it was automatic.

It is just as easy, or even more so, to click on you profile to see if you have messages and read them while you are ALREADY there, as it is to click on the home feature to see if you have messages and THEN have to go to your profile to read them.

CatGirl says on May 12, 2008, 11:25:

BB - yes, I agree..that is what I do now.
Only thing, (over time) when you click on it it does not go directly to the last or next to last comment....lots o' scrolling down - having the same problem with posts too. Sometimes it takes me right away but most the time I have to scroll all the way down.

houstongal says on May 12, 2008, 15:07:

There was another PBH that was going on in people's profiles and lots of people were commenting via profiles. The profiles were being used in a manner similar to the Facebook wall. Thus the friends comments list made it easy to keep up with what was going on.

I know it's easy to check your own profile. But without the friends comments list you miss out the activity of knowing when your friend left a message for someone else.

And I agree with CatGirl....scrolling through all the comments in your profile can be a pain.
