Short term rentals in Villavicencio

The Mrs. and I will probably be going to Colombia in February. Does anybody know of furnished apartments in Villavo for rent for a 2 week period of time? I can't afford the Don Lolo for 14 days - and the wife refuses to stay at the little hotel I used to use called the Hotel Portal del Llano in the centro. Staying with relatives is not an option. Mom in law now lives in a tiny 2 bed house in a pueblo called Porfia, cousins, aunts, etc - same situation. Tiny houses, already filled to the brim with people. My buddy who is from Villavo originally tried to find an apartment for a month in Villavo. Even with help from his cousins, he had no luck. (He had plastic surgery in Bogota and wanted to lay around an apartment in Villavo with hookers for a month to recover) Anyway, I appreciate any help / suggestions.

Thanks a lot Kat1. Too bad our paths won't cross in Villavo. We could all go dancing at Aguapanelas on prepago night. jajajaja

So you know the hotel I am talking about? There is nothing wrong with it. Clean, the owner Lucho and his wife are real nice, cable, air conditioning. I just hated waking up the lady at 3am to get in.

Well then our paths may indeed cross. I am shooting for the first week of February, staying for 12 to 14 days. January is a possibility - depends on work. I'll keep in touch to see if we are going to end up in Villavo during the same time.

Goin_South could also be in Bogota with his fiancee in January. That should be when she gets her interview.
