I am returning to Bogota at the end of the week...I promised a family in need some sneakers from here - US...I have there shoe sizes but something seems off....
most shoes here list US EUR UK and Mex on their labels....
does anyone know how shoe sizes are in colombia....sounds like a silly question but does anyone know how it correlates with any of the above?
15 year old boy size 38 size 3-4 for boys?
10 year old girl size 33 size 1.5 for girls?
34 year old woman size 36 size 5 here...
38 year old male size 40 size 7 here in US for a male?
I am a little embarassed for the confusion....but my 10 year old nephew wears a 5Y or a 37.5 EUR and my 7 year old neice wears a 3.5Y or a 35.5 EUR...and I wear a size 9 or 10 which I thought always converted to a 40-41....we are taller than average I guess...well no about average but yes taller than the average Colombian children...
I guess I just don't want to call again...making it seem like it's a problem to bring this back or even emphasize size differences.....guess I am getting a little neurotic about this....
Also - would they be insulted if these sneakers are not necessarly well known brands...like NIKE or Adidas or whatever....these are very humble, wonderful people but I just don't want to insult anyone either....

Miguel says on Mar 6, 2005, 18:32: More on shoes GIB is right about finding large sizes in Colombia; I wear an 11.5 or 12, depending on the brand, and was lucky to find a size 45 in Barranquilla. New Balance is a great shoe to consider as well, when on sale.
