Shipping a Skid from NY to Yucatan or closeby.......any ideas???

Have a look at www.uship.com Not sure if you would get anyone from there to cross the border...........but you would get it to San Diego or Brownsville fairly cheap......... Maybe another service from there.

Phone up the logistics dept. of an oil or petrochemical co. (PEMEX would be ideal, but anyone of the majors, EXXON, SHELL, CHEVRON, DEVON) who works in the Gulf of Mexico would be OK. They are used to shipping giant modules a 100 times bigger, as well as small ones and they could hook you up with a few transport companies that specialize in this. Air transport is cost prohibitive, unless you are in a real hurry. Usually ship out of Texas / Louisiana border . With that small module, it might make sense to ship by land as far as possible.Anyway, if you can friendly with these people, they'll give you some good ideas, hopefully "fit for purpose".
