Hi I am relocating to Bogota, Colombia from Las Vegas, Nevada in a month. I am having a problem finding an airline that will accept my dog. She is a Bullmastiff and she weighs about 220 lbs. American, Conntinental and Avianca said they would not allow this breed of dog on there planes and Delta would allow but the Kennel that she has to travel in will not fit in the opening of the Plane. I would greatly appreciate any advice or help.

lampltr says on Mar 19, 2008, 03:02: Jose, unless rules have changed the type of dog should not have any significance nor its size, anyways I shipped a full grown European bread Doberman from Asia to New England on Northwest, not a single problem and they even had the dog out for exercising on a major layover in Chicago. Price was about same as you were quoted by Tampa...let us know how it all works out. Great post!

NataliaV says on Mar 19, 2008, 12:26: Wrinkles is a good looking dog. I wanted a bull mastiff, but my husband wanted a rotti. We got the rotti and she is great dog too. Maybe one day I can convince him for a mastiff.
