Shared Office Space - Consultants, Students, Teachers.

Hello all!

I was just thinking how great it would be to have a shared office for the handful of internationals in Bogota who work, but have no comfortable space away from home to read, write, and organize their business/work. Wouldn't it be great to have a shared start-up house, or consultancy office where we could have a desk, hold small meetings, and have a physical presence?

Is anybody out there interested in sharing office space? If so, where, and what would you use it for?

I have been researching this for some time now in Bogota, and am wondering if there is anybody out there who would like to share in such a venture. Shoot me an email.

Superb Idea I think its a great Idea and I would totally be willing to invest in that venture. However I live in Medellin, I was talking to a friend yesterday (Southern 151) at a bar in Parque LLeras and we were brainstorming various ideas and that was one of them. Our Idea was not much of an office but more like a comfortable lounge type of cafe where Americans can go and network, have meetings, play pool, shoot darts, have some American Cocktails etc. Not too much of a bar but a meeting place where we could serve as happy consultants, maybe have a travel agency in the place. Laid back, Tell me what you think?

Utopia Cowboy would learn about it and send the bad guys to kidnap the Americanos.

I was thinking more professional space. Like an incubator, for english teachers, international professionals, consultants, people passing through - a large office to hold meetings/ networking/ maybe dinners, and where the international community can really feel like they have a physical presence, as often we do not. Our social opportunities are there - so I think less about bar or cafe, and more about a professional incubator or gringo chamber of commerce...
