Seriously though, I can't stand the knee-jerk negative reaction people have to Shakira. In case you all haven't noticed, people who reach that level of fame (Gabo, Botero) usually find more it more amenable to live abroad in peace. That doesn't mean they don't care for Colombia. Shakira has her ALAS and Pies Descalzos foundations, which are more important than any piddling vacation or mansion in Colombia, imo.
