In the last few years, colombianas have made a big strive to catch up to with their gringa sisters, though they continue to lack in a few things. Upper class Colombianas prefer their guys on the wimpy pasty side while gringas prefer dark mean modefoques . For most gringas drugs and sex go hand in hand while Colombianas prefer to be only drunk, nearly passed out. All the girls I nailed in Colombia were nearly comatose, hardly breathing.

I've checked on this. Yes. I've met family members 60 to 70 years old and the drinking, womanizing, gambling etc. was the same. It might have toned down in the last 60 years.

You can tell when Colombia has fallen on bad times. The numbers of new churches and houses of prostitution (bars) increases.

Existing churches have definitely gotten larger and I think there are more churches today than 5 years ago. Someone noticed these churches were making the "founder" rich and when a Colombian sees lots of money vrs. not much work many will get religion and sell it.

My one nightmare. A church opens next door or across the street. If I saw that happening I'd get with a Colombian, finance a bar and be a traveling recruiter looking for bar maids.

Gotta disagree too - the Colombianas I have met were all a lot better and lot more keen at oral than girls from Australia and other countries, and not squeamish about 'cleaning the machinery after use'. My feeling & observation is that Colombia has historically been a place where beauty has been valued and there have been machismo attitudes - I do believe it is changing albeit slowly etc. Talk to Colombian grandparents, and there will always be the talk of the local town beauty, the girl who was reigning beauty queen etc, the prettiest sister in the family next door, etc. She might have been more covered up in her day - but she was still in style.

The actual way that sexuality is expressed has changed, some to do with what people feel is current styles and fashion (as dictated by celebrities), and some a more dramatic shift from conservative expression to liberal expression - ie since the 60s & 70s.

Consider some of the extreme things that people the world have gone through for beauty or vanity (ie super tight corsets, wigs, etc), and surgery becomes just the current, if distubingly invasive, one of those things.

I totally agree, is just like anywhere in the western hemisphere except in Colombia many gringos, including myself, no longer get the quality of females here in USA as we do in Colombia.
