Sending text messages to Colombian cells via the internet

I sent a text message via the www.colombia.com website to a relative's cell phone (Comcel). We phoned a short time later to confirm that she had received it. She had received it, but she informed us that Comcel would charge her about 35000 pesos to receive the message. I find that impossible to believe. What kind of rubbish is that? Does anybody know what it really costs for the recipient cell phone user, if anything at all?

Movilstar web site? I have tried sending text messages to other cell phones (from www.colombia.com) in Colombia and they do not all work. It would appear that the web site I used only works for Comcel. Movilstar is another provider there, but I cannot find a link from which to send text messages to Movilstar cells. Does anybody have a link?

I just know about www.ola.com.co, they charge about 350 pesos/message. Very acceptable, but I can't imagine a 35,000 for a message. Probably she made some expensive phonecalls or whatever OR they made a mistake at her cellphone company's office....

Sent some today I sent some messages via the movistar webssite today, and even sent one when I was talking to the recipient on a regular land line (during which I confirmed the correct cell number). No messages were received, even though the prompt on the website said that the message was sent correctly. Very strange.
