I´ve posted here and asked in a lot of places and so far been quoted between 90,000 and a whopping 130,000 pesos just to send a letter to england. I need to send one soon to my student loans company before they start robbing my blind.
Does anyone know anywhere cheaper, a specific place within Medellín would be perfect so i can finally put this thing to bed.
Thanks Christian
PS i tried finding Adpostal on calle 10 in el poblado but didn´t manage to find an office where the address said it should be, nor did the locals know.

winsurfer says on Jul 26, 2009, 09:12: If your destination has a fax number you may be able to use an internet fax company...this would let you send a letter from a computer and get proof of delivery. There are a number of these which charge around $10/month but all of them have free trials. Don't think they can provide a receive fax number in Colombia but you could get a receive fax US number...it just ends up going to your email anyway.

pedro (☼Travelguide writer) says on Jul 26, 2009, 09:32: Deprisa's service just piggybacks on 4-72's service, I'm pretty sure. But it's probably more convenient -- most Exitos have a Deprisa counter somewhere in the complex. If you're close to cll 10, there's a big Exito walking downhill along the cll 10 from Parque del Poblado for a couple of minutes. sirwhale says on Jul 27, 2009, 14:42: ok thanks for all the help. i have to send an original letter to england to prove that im not earning over the threshold to start paying back my loan. I also used to send a lot of letters from Chile and if i can find something around 10K i'd be quite happy start again. Letters are ten times more personal than emails. I'll hop down to exito on call 10 soon to see what i can do.
