Hey all, I am living in Armenia, and haven´t seen much of anything of Colombia yet. I am trying to finger out where to spend Semana Santa. I am going to be traveling with a Colombiana, and thus paying for 2, an thus would prefer things of the more affordable variety.
Right now I have booked 4 nights at a hostel in Medellin, and have heard that I will probably have a good time there. I could ditch that if something better comes along from your advice, or if you tell me where to continue from there, I could follow that advice.
I am trying to avoid the Carribean coast, as I want to leave that for the summer. Anything else is fair game.
I leave Armenia Saturaday morning, and have no where to stay in Medellin as of Wednesday. I have to be at work on the following Tuesday. Lots of time. I like small towns, rural areas, fincas, etc. the 4 nights in Medellin will be enough city life for me.
I am avoiding planes as too damn expensive.
Ideas?
