Hi, I'm placing a whole lot of items on sale. All kinds of things ranging from an ample collection of imported Ethan Allen furniture to a stash of about 45 original paintings.
Not going anywhere, just selling. I figured I'd come on here and offer my stuff and also request some advice as far as selling in Colombia, so if you'd like some additional info I can email photographs and prices.
On the other hand I'd like some advice from the veterans on the field. I've heard it's not such a good idea to place an ad in the paper because you might get robbed or worse. How true is that? What's the best way to go about selling used (yet upscale) furniture and household items? Are there any decent agents who can sell quickly and charge a normal commission?
I would really appreciate any advice!
