Greetings:
Anyone know of an online store with a really good selection of Colombian music where shipping to the U.S. doesn't cost a ton? I'm becoming more and more fascinated with Colombia's incredible music scene (Cabas and Juanes are current favorites) and would like to discover some new artists. (First purchase to make: Sanalejo's self-titled CD, which is unavailable in the U.S.)
And as a sidenote, any CD recommendations?
Many thanks,
Jeremy

Was down in Colombia this past Christmas and New Years visiting familia I haven't seen in like 19 years. It was a blast. I bought Sanalejo's self-titled CD and it's great. Try going to Tower Records Colombia (www.towerrecords.com.co)and go to the contacto link on the webpage and send them an email. They may help. Oh and also considering buying Qatro Aparte's CD - Todo De Ti (great CD) and Ekhymosis's self-titled CD (Juanes was lead vocalist of this hit Colombian Rock group before he went solo)I love this CD. And of course you can buy any of Carlos Vives's and Shakira's CD's here in the U.S. and also Maia's - Balie de Los Suenos CD. Hope this helps.

I would recommend the Universal music website or Disco Fuentes, both Miami based. I will be returning to Medellín in July to sell folkloric music from my websites, mundovibes.com and ricolombia.com so check them out in the future for exclusive releases.
