Second Continental Houston Bogota Flight Oct 1st.

Continental's second direct Houston Bogota starts October 1st. Departs Houston at 12 midnight and the second daily return flight leaves Bogota at exactly the same time 12 midnight. Red eye flights which at times can mean a lower fare.

I thought I read somewhere about a week ago that Continental cancelled all their flights from Houston to Cali. Now they are starting up a Bogota run, eh? Maybe that run will be more profitable.

Continental is dropping Cali......someone going to Bogota might save some $$ if you buy a RT ticket Houston-Bogota-Houston on that red eye flight and booking RT flights from your city to Houston Hobby on Southwest. But then you would need to pay taxi or transport costs from Hobby to IAH which might make it not worth the effort?

The Houston Cali flight never got much market share it was a dissapointment to Continental from the very start droping from daily to 3 flights a week and now after September it will stop operations all together. The second flight from Houston to Bogota is going to be a great option, you can return that same day or catch connecting flighs via Aero Republica with your one pass miles. Gone will be the days of having to spend the night in Bogota to connect to other cities
