Searching for Roots in Bogota, Colombia

Hello,
I am a newbie here. I somehow got linked to this site through an adoption search site. Anyway, I was born in Colombia, was adopted and moved to the U.S. when I was 3. I was looking to find any connection to my birth mother, siblings, or extended family. Her name is Luz Dary Rojas. I am also just looking to connect with others who have a passion for Colombia, particularly those who may also be adopted from there and living in the U.S. Thanks.

Hi Luz Dary
Is this your birth name? If so it would be very helpful to get the other last name. This would give you both of your parents last names.

But, I'm going to start making some assumptions here.... Which means I might actually end up making an ass out of myself ..........Thu 04 17, 2008 11:34 am

GOOD LUCK. If you hit a dead end try church records. unfortunately the catholic church has much influence in Colombian beauracracy.

Smile if you are a thinker!

LNem28, believe you will have much better luck here in Colombia compared with the US providing you can support all information with original documentation, very best to you and welcome!!
