Search: ST apt rentals in Bogota

Hi, I regularily go to Bogota for Holidays (every 6 weeks for two weeks) and am interested in renting an apartment near zona Rosa. I saw a forum here yesterday that was related to this, however, could not open some of the sites or the one i could was 60 USD approx a day. Does anyone know of where else i can find apartments for casual rent. Essentially it would need to be cheaper than 40USD a day as this is the cost of my regular hotel which is 10 min walk from Zona Rosa and very nice.

Thanks for your help.

just to be clear do you want to rent an apartment full-time to use just when you're here, or are you looking for "apartment" style lodging to rent two weeks at a time?

If you're staying an average of 10 days per month it might be well worth it to just have an apartment but I don't think the math works at $30 a day. Maybe on the south side of Carrera 15 you can find something for $300 or $400 a month but not in the neighborhoods around the Zona in the other directions (which are some of Bogota's most expensive).

I would probably prefer one that i can 'rent' each time i go there. i did a similar thing in Brazil ie rented a aprtmt for two week periods which worked out much better tha hotels. Thanks for your help.

Lots of apartments but... There are (used to) lots of apartments free at the moment in Bogotá. Not sure about the prices close to zone Rosa though.

What you are looking for is a timeshare apartment for someone who does the same as you.

Re: Apartments in Bogota There are some furnished apartments very close to la zona rosa. The name is Regency 85. Their website is http://www.viaggioapartamentosamoblados.com
My bf stayed there for 10 days. They charged him 100.000/day, which is 40 dollars/day (at the current exchange rate)

The other ones, close to la Zona Rosa and over the same price range are Suites Real 85. Their website is
http://www.suitesreal.com
My bf stayed there too but the apartments are smaller. Price is 97.000+IVA (7%)

Since those are the cheapest apartments around la Zona Rosa, I assume you should be in one of the above. :-)

Good luck,

Johanna

I dunno if you'd wanna stay there It TOTALLY changes character there once the sun goes down. They'd probably be very glad to get someone who isn't a starving student and can actually pay their rent there. But BE CAREFUL, and that goes for anywhere around Calle 19. It's a whole different ballgame there at night.

apartamento We are coming to Bogota for at least six months from Florida in January looking for a furnished place to rent. We need a reasonable price and do not mind living off the reservatcion. We have lived in Latin countries for awhile and pretty much understand what’s happening. We have also researched the city and country very throughly. We are American jubilados on a fixed income... Please respond to Carlitosamigos
please all the information and price of your aparment. Please include the phone, electricity, water, trash and all other costs.
Thanks for your help

Furnished apartment in bogota for rent Near the financial district (calle 72). Ideal for bussines season in Bogota in a cozy apartment in Rosales (rather than an impersonal hotel). High speed internet, loundry services and garage. Monthly rent is about 1.6 million pesos for 2006 and do not include utilities (power, phone, tvcable, high speed internet, water and building administration fee are around 500.000 pesos). Also rent for days and months. Send message for more details,

Apartment Rentals in Bogota There are many great postings on this site for apartment rentals but I was wondering if anyone has stayed at any of the above listings or can recomend other places for July.
I am looking for a place to stay probably two to three weeks in Bogota and I don't have a large budget.
I would prefer to stay at someplace where several travelers can give an honest testimonial about ther experience.

I need info on apartment! Could you please send me some info on the apartment...I'm going to Colombia in June and need lodging for a month. I have family in Bogota but they all have apartments and staying with them would be a little crowded not to mention a month is an awful long time to be visiting at someones home.
Thank You.

Accomodation in Medellin Hi everyone,
As an alternative to the cheap and nasty hotels in the center and the numerous hostels which offer good but crowded accommodation, I have a luxury 3-bedroom apartment in El Poblado, close to the Zona Rosa and public transport. It is also easy walking distance to a large supermarket and one of the best shopping centers in Medellin. It is fully furnished, has free internet, cable TV and one of the best views in Medellin. As residents, myself and my flat mate can give excellent advice one where to go and what to do. The apartment complex also contains a pool, squash court, gym and 24 security.

As guests, you will be sharing the apartment with myself, Andrew an Australian who has been traveling in South America for over two years and has settled here in Medellin for over a year now, and Jim, an American who has been here for 9 months and spent the previous 6 months travelling down through Central America so between us we can answer almost any question you might have about Medellin and the rest of Latin America.

I can accommodate a single traveler or a couple for one day or for several months. If you would like to make inquiries, please email me at a_campion at yahoo.com or telephone ahead on 321 2837. The cost of renting a room in the apartment is $35,000 per day for one person or $50,000 for a couple.

For more information, check out my new site: http://theapartmetmedellin.homestead.com/index.html

Hopefully see you soon,
Andrew
