Search: private detective?

I have been trying to locate a special friend with no luck. I don't know how else to try and find her. I was wondering if I would have any luck hiring a private detective.

She was in Manizales and her family recently moved to Bogota.

If you are not in Colombia try the phone search firstly and buy one of those cheap phone cards and start calling , another way would be to place an Add in the local Manizales Paper with your email address.

To locate someone in Bogota may be a little more difficult though still Do-able.

A private investigator will just take your pesos and do what you can do i.e internet research.
