Search: Housing near EAFIT

I am moving to medellin from Mar 4 - Apr 29. I have not yet found comfortable housing with other young Colombian students. If you can help me to find a place near EAFIT with Colombian students, I will be SOOOO grateful - and obviously, I am in a hurry! HELP! :0

Thank you,

i would suggest coming to stay with us for a few days at the blacksheep hostel or another hostel and going to the spanish for foreigners language dept in the university eafit where they have many listings of rooms for rent/ share etc... that would your best bet i would say. you could find a place to stay in a day or two

Which hostel is closer to EAFIT? Which is less expensive? And which is more likely to have Spanish speakers! :)

closest to Eafit would be Casa Jerusalem.. A nice place but unless you're Jewish might not be the place for you...

Second closest would be my place (10 minute walk to eafit).... I think basically you are going to have to stay somewhere for a day or two before you get yourself a flat of some sort. you will need to research the papers and definitely go to the boards at eafit and look for shared accomm options.. should be pretty simple...might take two or three days..

most of the hostels in medellin are full(half full these days) of english/ americans/ australians and europeans... there are the odd argentineans coming up...i have several colombians on my staff.. including two girls who are studying international business at Eafit.

basically you will be very hard pressed to find a place before you arrive.. therefore take the cheap option and stay at a hostel for a few days while sorting out some accommodation with colombians...
