Search: Hotel and Apt ideas, late Jan - late Feb

Hi,

As i am new to this great forum i would like some updated tips for our trip. We are 4 guys from Sweden going to Colombia for 1 month, Jan27-Feb28. We are going to party, sun sand and sea... We plan on staying first in Bogota for a few days somewhere near Zona Rosa as i get it. Any tips on a nice hotel in this area, not to expensive, pref something we can book in advance.

Then we fly on to Cali. One of my friends is Adopted from Cali, and has lived his whole live in Sweden(First time to Col. since he was 1year old) We need a nice apartment, hotel in Cali, where would be the best area for us to stay in?

After that i think we are flying up to Cartagena, and we also need a place to stay there, and As i understand it is a bit more expensive.

Then we move on to Barranquilla. Is it possible to get some nice hotel or apartment there for the Carnival?

I hope we can get some useful tips from somewhat more experienced colombia travellers...

Best regards//

Fredrik

Hotel Andino Royal in La Zona Rosa. About $125 US double per night. Good location safe clean and close to all activities. They take reservations over the internet
