I am looking for a furnished apt. for a few months in Barranquilla. Not for Carnivale. One or two bedrooms would be fine.

Another request for furn apt in Barranquilla I also am looking for a furnished apt in Barranquilla. As well as a job, but that is another Discussion. Does anyone know what is a typical monthly rent? What is the exchange rate (or where can I find it) for Colombian pesos to US dollars and also to Mexican pesos? Also what are the good/bad areas of Barranquilla?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Jaymes... As far as the rate, it can totally vary depending on what you are looking for. Depending on what you are willing to pay and what amenities you want, you may even do well finding a long-term hotel! I doo not have knowledge of any specific furnished apartments available, but if you pick up the local periodico you will find everything you need. As far as exchange rates, you can always get updatesd info at:

Hope that helps!

The North side of Barranquilla is the best and safest. Try near the new "Home Center" or the New mall I think it is called San andres. Rents very depending on where and what you have to have. The exchange rate go here

the exchange rate varys depending on where you are getting it but this is a start try to stay close and don't go on the street to exchange
