kikolina0920 says on Apr 1, 2006, 10:17: Fincas There are many different towns around Medellin with all different categories of fincas. Guarne is on the Autopista Medellín-Bogotá, and has a temperate climate, although it can get quite chilly at night, and if it's a rainy day, you will definitely want to have a sweater with you. Guarne is 40 minutes from Medellín, an easy drive, very accessible, and the highway is good. Copacabana is actually considered part of the Metropolitan area of Medellín, and is north of the city. It too has a temperate climate, and on a personal note, is my favorite place on Earth...lots of great fincas, nice veredas, and is a stone's throw from the city. You can take a bus, a colectivo, even the Metro to get there. If you want to start research on the different towns, and what they have to offer, I would suggest you start with lopaisa.com. For fincas in specific towns, you can take a look at the classifieds on elcolombiano.com, or there is a good page called: espacios-ltda.com.
