Hi
I am looking to buy an investment property in Colombia and think Santa Marta is a great spot.
I am currently living in Sydney, Australia but I am Colombian and hold a Colombian passport but have been gone for 6 years.
Can anyone tell me of any realestate agents to deal with in Santa Marta ?????
Also were can I find the average buying price and average rental return in Santa Marta.
Are there any internet sites that list Colombian property that are worth looking at ????
Any replies greatly apprecaited and if anyone thinks there are better investment oppurtunties in Colombia I am all ears.
Regards Sandra

Perhaps it would be useful if you should choose to utilize Colombian newspapers that could aid in your endeavors: el colombiano, el tiempo, etc. as they come in electronic form, (you could search the classifieds). You may also want to check with Colombian banks, (i.e. Banco de Bogota has a couple branches here in the U.S., perhaps they have one in Australia?). You may also want to ask any relatives in Colombia, (as they may see a good classified posting or two). Good Luck.
