Search: apts for sale in Cali

My novia (Caleña) and I (foreigner) are thinking of purchasing a modest apartment in Cali, in a gated complex of sorts. The idea would be to spend a number of weeks/months there per year; the rest of the time we would be living abroad. So the aspect of security / maintenance while we are away is of importance. We are looking for something in the low price range, therefore not necessarily something luxurious. A two bedroom apparment is all we need; swimming pool and other amenities are not necessary, proper parking facilities on the hand are essential. Can anyone recommend anything?, the price being the most important determining factor. Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

Besides, that aspect of the relationship (trust, I guess is what you would call it) is covered; this is not one of those wacky type situations that I'm forever reading about on this forum; we've been together for almost three years, I know what I'm into. We've been renting a home in Cali for some time now, I'm a regular visitor, we own a car in Cali, we have our home abroad, I'm okay with the family, etc. So, any information on the apartment itself? Imagine renting an apartment in the USA for a whole year and just using it for a few weeks or months.

I'd say...Rent instead of buy in Cali! The good places there cost alot more with security! Spend your money on a place that is fully furnished, and then not worry about paying for it!
