Hi There, I am looking at spending soem time in Cali and am looking for information on cheaper long term accomodation. I would ideally like to rent an apartment and have heard of rates from 150 USD to 300 USD / month. Does anyone have any contacts for these (this info is purely from a Expat I met in Cali and I didnt follow up at the time).
Additionally, there were aparthotels across from the Intercontinetal hotel which I think were about 50,000 pesos a night. Any info on these? This oculd be the place i start from. my normal Hotel near Chippi chappy costs about 65,000 P a night.
Thanks for any help

creamontop says on Oct 10, 2005, 00:26: bickerss you are right No need to pay over 200 Us Dollars for a rental place on long term base. This is almost 2/3 of a monthly income for a local person with a descent job. I am making contact with an expat in Cali (for the moment) living already 12 years in Cali with his "caliente" woman. Once I receive more information on where to find (in a secure barrio) a rental place I hope it will be appreciated to share this information. I'm going to Cali at the end of February 2006. So I have plenty of time to find. Meanwhile I hope there will follow informations and descriptions of the places which will be available due to the friend in Cali i'm contacting for the moment. Also some local chicas are trying to help me out with rather more "upscale" villa's with swimmingpool. This as I am not going alone but with a friend from my country. And we sure would like our private mansion for the period we will be there. No hassle with lobby's or guests that can be disturbed by our nightly noises. :-)) yo me puse tengo un guayabo ahora, yo seguro hace cuando estoy en Colombia |
