My wife and I will be living in Bogotá from approx. June 18 to August 8.
I would like to live with a family in a homestay, or in an apartment or condo. Our reason for moving to Bogotá is to gain fluency in Spanish - at present, we speak at a beginner's level.
Please reply here with any offers or suggestions or contact me directly via private message.
Thanks!

Lostgringo says on May 31, 2006, 06:01: BogotaColombiaLodging What don't you have Bob lol. I never knew a guy with so many things going on in his life. Hoping all is well with and your family. Thanks again for the free breakfast I had at your place. If you want a "built in" tour guide and want a great place to stay this is the place to stay. If you have other arrangements already in place, stop by Bob's and speak with him. Maybe next time you will stay at his place. And, Bob knows more about Bogota and Colombia I think than most Colombians. saryechka says on Jul 10, 2006, 18:52: Thanks Jay I haven't found anything yet. I would definitely be willing to split a place if it worked out. What part of the city are you trying to live in? We are trying to find place around Ca. 77 and Cr. 11, but if you don't mind living further south, you should check out Franko's place.

superpancho says on Jul 11, 2006, 11:39: Sarah Sounds good. A place in the north would be nice, but not necessary. I'm not looking for anything that exquisite. Most everybody I've talked to has really nice places in really nice areas. And of course with that comes higher rent than I can pay right now. I've got a pretty good hookup at a hostel in el candelaria, so to be honest I'm really just seeing if I can get lucky. I'm going to look at Franco's place today or tomorrow. I turned my site e-mail on, so feel free to contact me there. I'll keep checking this thread too. Hope you have a good day-
