Good day!
I am to spend a couple of months in Bogota. The best option is therefore to get a room in an aparthotel. Can someone provide specifics for aparthotels: location and price range and email? I could live anywhere from Centro up to the North. I will work in Chapinero. I prefer to hang out with the kind of people who work in Centro and Chapinero rather than the would-be uppities of the North. Chapinero would be a good balance. This info is important to me, as I could not locate it on Internet. Thank you so much.
Best,
Mike

colombiana2000 says on Sep 7, 2004, 16:05: There is a great Apartment hotel in Bogota called Viaggio apartments. There are many locations. 2 I think in Chapinero Alto. They are very reasonable for monthly rates. Everything is included, even laundry. There is housecleaning everyday. They even will do your dishes. The hotel rooms are really nice. With coffee machines, ovens, blenders, pots pans.

bickerss says on Oct 7, 2004, 10:11: I checked out this one (The one is Chico El Virrey is on 86th. Really a cool cosmopolitan area. You will love it) mentioned by colombiana2000. It is very nice and right next door to Zona Rosa - prime location. I found it a bit expensive though at 110,000 pesos per night (for me) and the owner was not willing to negotiate even if I stayed for an extended period, so gave it a miss. But if u have the money, its quite good! Investment Strategy - buying when others are crying!! Offloading when others are gloating!!! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

The wonderful description sounds just what I'm looking for. Thanks for the phone number, Colombiana2000, but I'm reluctant to phone from Australia at this stage.

I will be leaving here in about a week and a half. I will have been here for a month with no regrets. The total price to me was $1045 american dollars. I will still be in Bogota, I just rented an apartment....which is beatiful...and about the same price as the hotel, but much bigger and plusher!

carlitosamigos says on Nov 6, 2005, 08:27: apartamento We are coming to Bogota for at least six months from Florida in January looking for a furnished two bedroom place to rent. We need a reasonable price and do not mind living off the reservacion. We have lived in Latin countries for awhile and pretty much understand what’s happening. We have also researched the city and country very throughly. We are American jubilados on a fixed income... Please respond to Carlitosamigos

orestesdd says on Jun 7, 2007, 16:09: How do you make the reservations to this place? I don't see to find these places by google-ing them. Btw, a web page requesting credit card information must be secured and encrypted or else there is no way to submit confidential info
