Search: 1 BR apt in Bogotá

Hi, i´m in Bogotá at the moment and am looking for a one bedroom apartment (apartestudio)for about six - eight months, but haven´t had much luck! I´ve tried several inmobiliarias, but most seem to be renting only 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. I´m looking for something in Ciudad Salitre (where my family lives) or something between Calle 100 and 72, to the east of Crr 11. I´m also willing to share a two bedroom apartment with a student or other young person. I´ve already tried searching around this site for more help, but i thought i would post just in case anyone had any leads.

Thank you!

500USD IS OK , depending where in Ciudad Salitre is the Apartment. because you can get cheaper ones in different zones of ciudad Salitre.
Serrana is part of C.S and this is more or less what you can pay in this area a month.

$500 a Month! Well I am not sure what to say here regarding the rent for my apartment. It is a 3 bedroom with custom hardwood floors. Two baconies and two bathrooms. A bathroom in the master bedroom. Beautiful view of the mountains. I am only 2 blocks away from the American Embassy. And, about a 15 minute walk to Salitre Plaza. I have seen some of the apartments for rent in Bogota. Many have badly stained carpets and a year's lease. You need to have someone sponsor you who owns property just to rent an apartment. This apartment is in a brand new building. Everything is new! And there is no lease! Try renting a room here by the day. I was paying around $50 USD a day for a room before my apartment was ready. Sure it is not dirt cheap but it sure beats living in a $17 a day room in Estrado 2. That is what it works out to...$17 a day for 30 days is around $510. I have posted some pics of this apartment for your convenience. Thanks for all your input.
