Scopolamine/Burundanga

Don't worry. Our resident "I've been drugged" character is not back.

I came across this video about Scopolamine. I haven't had a chance to view the whole thing, so I can't vouch for how good it might be, but thought some of you might be interested.

Watched the frist third of it. Scary stuff. I'm not sure a third of kidnappings occur in Colombia these days, though.

Some of the comments he make's are just like, so, like, you know, like, way off the mark dude...(the way he speaks is annoying and some of it very offensive, isn't he the same guy that reported the costeños y las burras that GS posted once?)

The worst possible propaganda for Colombia, he makes the ascertation "Colombia is F at *&ed" and then spews out the worst possible "facts" about the country.

On the lighter side I find the guy who get's them the burundanga quite funny...Sisas carelocos!

Not sure how much this is propaganda or shock news reporting, but it is indeed very, very distributing.

The guy that helps him get the stuff is hilarious. I wish I had him to show me around town when I'm down there -- what better guy to have fun with, lol.

They said I couldn't play football I was too small / They say I couldn't play basketball I wasn't tall / They say I couldn't play baseball at all / And now everyday of my life I ball.

Well, I don't know if tourons will be normally hanging out in a shady brothel or strip joint in Santa Fe getting all soused up. Still, I guess this can happen anywhere . . . and if even the "bad guy" got burned once, then it can happen to anyone. . . though it's still probably a good idea to avoid hanging out in the nasty puterias and where the "mala gente" are.

Will definitely be on guard on my upcoming trip to BOG if someone approaches me asking for directions or some kind of question. In Poblado, I was very laid back and friendly if a local I didn't know approached me to ask for directions but I will treat BOG like I'm in alien territory.

When I went to Cuba, I was always amused/impressed by all the little scams the cubans would try to play on me, but this is on a whole new level. This is some really evil s***.
