satellite internet

anyone here know if satellite internet is available anywhere in colombia? I have direct TV and I understand the directway internet service is on it's way, but I wanted to know if there is anything available now?

Rubiazo says on Jul 7, 2005, 20:32: There is a company called colomsat in Bogota, dunno about any other places. One friend of mine has a 2 mbit synchronous connection with them and pays 650k a month for it. Don't know if you'd need THAT much bandwidth :P 0 funny, 0 helpful.
