I watched Andrés Baiz's "Satanás" the other night and was deeply impressed. Based on the real life tragedy of Bogota's Pozzetto Massacre, it's a very thoughtful and sensitive meditation on evil and mental decay. Bleak, noir stuff, very powerful. A great Colombian film.

toneloc24 says on Apr 17, 2008, 08:44: I saw it. Bought a clear DVD copy (subtitles and all) down in San Andresito in Bogota for 3.000 or 4.000 pesos. I knew nothing about what happened prior to seeing the DVD. It was tastefully done and not over the top. The storylines were pretty good, in hindsight. It was interesting to see how they tied them all together. "Don't tase me, bro!!!!" |
