Sapzurro

Hi

I'm thinking of going there this fall.

Being quite familliar with Cartagena, Santa Marta and Medellin, this would be first visit in that region,

any toughts or suggestions?

It will be a big change compared to Cartagena and Santa Marta. Much more down to earth, remote towns, no roads, no cars. We loved every second of it.

El Aguacate, El Cielo, La Miel, Playa Soledad and Playa Capitancito are some of the excursions you can take. If you are crazy enough, rent a rowing boat and go to Isla Narsa, the tiny island that's right in front of Capurganá. That trip is not for weak people though.

Other than that, just enjoy the beach and tranquility of the place. Don't remember seeing a single beggar/street vendor/massage vermin there.
