sandilla y melones

i thought the title would get some attention.

unfortunately for those brought to reading this post thinking it had something to do with "sandilla y melones" are mistaken, by my ingenious ploy.

i need inspiration, currently im caught up in two dreams, one slightly more realistic than the other.

dream number one... spend my life looking for the perfect island.(a little far-fetched, good chat up material though)

dream number two... save money working as a white collar slave, to eventually open a restaurant in bogotá or medellín.(realistic, although i know nothing about starting a restuarant, or for that matter running a business)

something else that was on my mind, what kind of people go to these "meet-ups"?
surely they must be socially inept, no offense intended.
finally, where can i meet colombian girls online? (i wouldnt want to judge without at least trying it!)

I am talking about this sentence. Usually when you think about judging is because you have an idea or image about that.
I am from Cali.

Restaurant Dreams I have the same dream, but its likely to remain just that. Unless you are willing to work 16 hour days, insult and be insulted and likely end up broke, running a restaurant is not such a good idea..... nice dream though.

My friends were slaves to work..What a Dream or Nightmare? I have a friend here in Miami that owned a pretty well know restaurant "Riconsito Paisa #2" and he and his young wife were slaves to to their restaurant. It was so hard for them to get a day off and they spent a good part of their newlywed years just slaving for a living. His famous words were "esclavizante". I got to see first hand how their relationship deteriorated. Carlos Mario and Cristina divorced sometime after they sold their restaurant by that time it was too late to keep their marriage in tact.

My dream still remains the same.. to someday meet a Dark (trigueña) complected Colombian girl... why not ? I am from Colombia.. and I not allowed to Dream as well ? :)

people replied!!! firstly coolgirl, from what i understand there is an unusual balance of beuty among caleñas, famous for there rounded figures, and sensual skin tone?
back to subject though, "the image" of meet-ups, i imagine a group of physically unattractive people, the majority slightly socailly inept, some with deep sentiments of solitude, looking for common interests, sharing experiences of similar natures, discussing ways of meeting again, and a given few taking advantage of the lesser socially able.
well something like that.
coolgirl, out of purely innocent curiosity, how old are you? :P

secondly singsling, what about buying over a restuarant, and employing a managing chef? that way you dont have to be a slave, alternatively own, or start-up a nightclub/cafe/shop/winebar/coffehouse/cocktailbar/etc, that looks like a web address now.

Valentino, now that you've crushed dream number 2, could you kindly help me in the process of replacing it? how about renting property, or starting a hostel?
there might be a hot trigueña in it for you...

warm regards
