San Pedro - A Nice Getaway From Medellin

For all of you Paisa-Gringos, there is a beautiful getaway about an hour from Medellin called San Pedro. It is a quiet pueblo tucked into the mountains and is very clean and beautiful. There is a restaurant that serves great comida tipica called Asado de Tambo just outside of town. Once you get into town there is a little theme park call La Manuela. It's a great Saturday or Sunday drive. I highly recommend it.

I agree,San Pedro is delightful and the surrounding area reminds me of the Northern uplands of England.Try San Felix which is a pueblo before San Pedro and turn left by the church for about 5 kms to a spectacular sttting for a trout farm.
Locally this area is known as the ruta de leche because of all the black and whites chewing the cud and lactating.

I would love to post some pictures, but, I have tried to follow webmanco's instructions with tinypics but it only seems to take you so far. Once it's uploaded there are no instructions as to how to post them. I have tried photobucket as well with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
