En Seattle... Mojito Cafe 7545 Lake City Way NE, Seattle (Colombian, Latin American, South American)

A tiny cafe with a huge following, fans of Latin food head here for authentic plates of spicy dips and sweet plantains.
Phone: (206) 525-3162
Mejor llames primero para asegurar el horario de atención.

Me duele que comen plátanos pero bueno.... :)

How long will you be in Seattle? You will enjoy this city! If you fly into Seatac (Seattle-Tacoma) international airport. There are hotels just south of the airport that are pretty reasonable in price. About two blocks walking distance. The airport is located in a decent neighborhood and located on International Highway. On the same street there are buses that go directly downtown Seattle. The 194 is a direct express bus from the airport to center city (twenty minutes) the 174 is the slowmo which stops at every stop on International Highway. (45 min to one hour) Downtown Seattle is very nice. You can take a day trip to Victoria, British Colombia Canada on a highspeed ferry or you can cross the Puget Sound on a local ferry and enjoy Bainbridge Island. It is a very cosmopolitan city. There is a lot to see and do. Also check out the Lake Washington area and the Capital Hill section of the city. All walking distance. There are several information booths at Seatac airport. Have fun! If you have any problems in Seattle let me know. I have several friends that work at Seatac for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Be sure to check out some of the world class micro-brews in the city. I will be in Colombia Monday May 1 for two weeks. A few days in Barranquilla then up to Santa Marta. Viva Colombia!

Olvide Seattle. Venga a San Antonio. Puedo darte un viaje sobre mi casa.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

San Jose
San Jose has a Colombian restaurant, and while the atmosphere is nice,
I would say that the food is unspectacular:

I much prefer the Cuban restaurant in town:
http://www.998cuba.com/
The food is great there.

As for things to see, being so close by you really should go to
San Francisco. The Golden Gate bridge, drive up some of the
insanely steep hlls, ride the cable car, etc... The mission
district has a very high Spanish-speaking population, and you
may enjoy the ambiance of a few places there. I always enjoyed
a place called Cafe Macondo 3159 16TH St, San Francisco,
(415) 431-7516

If you are any kind of a Jazz fan, the trip to Yoshi's in Oakland
is very much worth it: http://www.yoshis.com/
