SAN Antonio DE Tachira????

Is it safe to travel here??? I want to go to Venezeula from Cucuta after Colombia but am scared now since those Colombian soccer players were killed there..Were they actually killed in San Antonio or was it further down the border in some villages??? Can someone reply on this as The whole info on that team being killed was very sketchy OK???
